Highlights from our community prayer meetings

On February 1st, Pastor Tim Walton, from Hope Christian Fellowship, led us in prayer using the passage from 2 Chronicles 7:14, 15

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.

In our prayer time, each of us who attended were struck and moved to hear a fresh that this passage was directed straight at us.

  • If MY people
  • Who are called by MY Name

This is us!  This passage is directed toward every Church and every Christian in the City of Pico Rivera.

And what are we supposed to do?

  1. Humble ourselves – confess
  2. Seek God’s Face – prayer
  3. Turn from our wicked ways – seek His righteousness

This fueled an even greater and more passionate desire to seek God and pray for the Churches and the Christians in the City of Pico Rivera.

In our prayers we shared a longing to see healing and restoration in our city along with seeking God’s healing and purifying in our own lives so that the City of Pico Rivera might be blessed.

We invite you to join us next Tuesday. You will definitely not regret it.         Let's Pray Pico Rivera Praying Man
