Pray without ceasing

All great manifestations of the Holy Spirit have been birthed and fostered by prayer. Prayer brings God into our homes, into our churches, and into our cities. The Church is  the general and is the guardian over our City.

The Church, a body of believers, with Christ as the head should gather together in one accord for the purpose of praying for the lost in order to rebuild and strengthen our City. As it states 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, who are called by my name shall humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Prayer moves the hand of God.

In our midst, we have experienced the mighty hand of God move miraculously through the power of prayer. God is able to do what this world is not able to do. He heals the sick, He sets the captive free, He restores the broken and contrite spirit, and the greatest of all miracles is the salvation of souls. He is a mighty God, a God of all wonders. Thus, it is our time, as the Church, to come forth in prayer and take back our City for God. I eagerly await with anticipation the answers to our prayers. James 5:16 “…the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”
